Don Shula was right if there is a perfect season on the Patriots, well the football goods are smiling on them.
The “Time-Out”, the “False Start”… Rex Ryan, you gave the game away, your team had them, and you gave it away.
Like the song says “God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in his shoes”; who knows what was going on in his mind, but it cost them the game.
Just nothing was on the Patriots favor. A friend of mine said “It’s Brady’s fault, he keeps throwing a ball directly at their hands, and it just keeps bouncing”. LOL, what happened to those receivers, Stallworth, Moss, Watson, they just didn’t look like the Pats we saw on the first 10 weeks.
Willis McGahee’s with 138-yard rushing performance dominated part of yesterday’s Monday night game, he was just amazing. Then to continue with the anxiety Tom Brady was sacked three times, but this wasn’t enough because the Baltimore Ravens defense were also focusing all their forces in Randy Moss limiting just to four catches for a total of 34 yards.
Definitely the Patriots were completely dominated by the Ravens, there’s no doubt of it. And there’s the point I want them to clarify, is that they are really tired? Or maybe they think they have all next NFL games won already? Pats don’t be that comfortable go back to the last two games where you guys were almost defeated.
“We made enough plays at the end,” Brady said. “A lot of questionable calls and we made some plays.”
“There’s a lot of room to improve in the final four weeks. There’s things we could’ve certainly done better … we kept clawing back.”
Eight days after edging the Philadelphia Eagles 31-28, the Pats barely kept alive their pursuit of the only unblemished record in NFL history, Miami’s 17-0 in 1972.
I say the right word to describe the Patriots its not “PERFECT” its “VULNERABLE”.
Anyways, Vin Diesel said on The Fast and the Furious, “you can win by an inch or you can win by a mile, a Win is a Win”.
The Patriots became the sixth team on the NFL History to start a season with 12 victories. Brady saved his team with an 8-yard passing touchdown to Jabar Gaffney with only 44 seconds left on the game.
Coming up is the Pittsburgh Steelers… the Patriots go back to Boston, to play, on my opinion the toughest team left on their schedule.
They better work it out, we want to see those Patriots going for a 4th-down conversion with a 35pt lead, we want to see the Patriots that just crushed teams. Belichick, Moss, Brady… GET ON THE GAME.
