Another big game awaits for all the New England Patriots followers when they face the great Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday afternoon.
Lots of rumors and speculations rounds this NFL game, due to the weak performance the Patriots showed in the last two weeks against the Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Ravens.
We all know that the Steelers are one of those strong teams, with one of the heaviest defenses allowing the fewest total points, passing and total yards this 2007 NFL season. This will be a battle where the Pats need to be very focused or this can be the end of their great undefeated 2007 season.
This matchup definitely needs to be watched because this two NFL teams are like the last two pieces of a puzzle: one has a draw that the other doesn’t have but they need to be together to complete the puzzle… what I mean by saying this, is that while the Steelers have one of the best defenses in the league, the Patriots are one in league’s offense. Great combination, now we have to check what would be the result of such combination.
But there are also some important targets in the Steelers team, Big Ben who will work in the offensive side with an average of twenty five points per game. This has been his season definitely, he has completed around 67 percent of his passes, also has a passer rating of 102.9 and to remark his good performance he has a 25-11 touchdown to interception ratio.
Big Ben also has shown a weak side that can be used in favor of the Patriots, Ben can be easily sacked. In the last three losses this action has turned him down making him fall, he’s been sacked 35 times for a total loss of 250 yards… That’s a lot!
I also want to mention an NFL player that has been slowing down its good performance, Willie Parker who ranks second in rushing yards. Thanks to this brilliant player the Steelers got the league’s No.2 ground game… something to be scared of!
We hope the Patriots can make a better game on Sunday and we also want to see Tom Brady giving more of what we wants and more of what he is.
