The return of the King James

Now the Cleveland Cavaliers can breathe better after LeBron James’ return. LeBron missed the Cavs’ previous five games due to a sprained left index finger; he came back as a reserve and scored seventeen points in the first twenty two minutes of the game against the Indiana Pacers.

There’s no word that can describe how great this NBA player is. At the age of 18 LeBron was selected in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Cavaliers as the first pick over all. But before that great deal with one of the National Basketball Association teams, this young kid signed up a contract with the biggest tennis shoe store “NIKE”.

Can you imagine an 18 year old kid with a contract for $90 millions and picked as a Pro NBA player, definitely everyone knows that he has a chaste of champion. He is commonly known as the “King James” or the Chosen One”, and I personally think that both nicknames describe perfectly the kind of player he is.

After his brilliant first season debut he received the NBA Rookie of the Year Award and also he has received the All-NBA and All-Star honors thanks to his great ball management.

During the 2005-2006 season he made a record in the NBA history by averaging 31.4 points, seven rebounds and 6.6 assists, thanks to this and many other records he has quickly become one of the top NBA players.

Something to admire, no doubt of it!

The Cavs are really proud of James who broke up with their six game losing streaks by defeating the Indiana Pacers with a final score of 118-107. Even though this was the first time this megastar didn’t start a game, he made a great effort to maintain the team’s glory till the end of the night.

My hopes for LeBron James are the best he can imagine because even though he has all that he wants, he has something that is more precious a valuable than that and its his big heart. He is always looking the ways to fight for his team and the ways to protect also his teammates.

If you don’t believe my words, just ask Anderson Varejao who was making his player debut Tuesday night after ending a contract holdout. Varejao said in previous meetings that he didn’t want to play for the Cavaliers and this is why our great LeBron was worried about trying to go to the field with him to avoid comments from the crowed stadium.

James words regarding this situation were: “I thought by coming in with Andy it might stop some of the booes Andy might get, just protecting my teammates.”
