A new challenge waits for the New England Patriots on Saturday, when they face the New York Giants.
This NFL game is their path to complete one of the best regular seasons in the NFL history. The only thing this unbeaten team needs to do it is to defeat the Giants who have also their playoff seeding secure.
The only team that has tasted the glory of being unbeaten in the NFL, was the Miami Dolphins in 1972, they went to the playoffs 14-0 and won the Super Bowl that year. But nothing can be compared to the glorious Patriots; this team is so far 15-0.
So far, there’s no single team that can stop Pats air attack. No opponent has had a good answer defensively for them, who right now have 551 points, just six to tie up the league’s single season record of the Minnesota Vikings.
Now there’s a big concern on the final performance of this NFL team, because they haven’t dominated their rivals as they did during the first half of the season.

On the Giants side, if they win this game it could give them the trust they need to enter the Tropicana field to face the D-Rays in a wild-card match, the team from New York is coming from an outstanding victory against the Bills on which they ran for 291 yards last week, their most since 1959.
An ankle injury might leave Brandon Jacobs in the bench, along with receiver Plaxico Burress, linebacker Antonio Pierce and safety Gibril Wilson.
An interesting fact to address is that The Giants are the only team that made it to the playoffs without a winning home record; they are 3-4 with 3 defeats in a row at the Giants Stadium.
It is truly one of the most interesting matches of the season; New England can make it 16-0, a real achievement for the Patriots franchise; could it be that the Giants have found the formula to stop Tom Brady and Randy Moss?
