One of the most controversial NFL players is still missing regular practice with his team for the NFL playoffs. You probably know already that I’m talking about Terrell Owens from the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys will face the New York Giants on Sunday and they are concerned about Owens health because they know that his presence is really important and decisive for the team’s performance.

The NFL team coach Wade Phillips showed his worry in a press interview, he said that until now he just knows that Terrell is trying really hard to get healthy as soon as possible and that he will let him play even though he hasn’t practice.

The Cowboys wide receiver was badly injured on the game, where they beat the Carolina Panthers 20-13 securing their presence in the NFC playoffs.

During a second quarter catch, Owens hurt when falling in the field with a hard pain in his left ankle. He left the game with his left foot in a boot and never returned to the game.

By now Owens is following Doctor’s orders really careful and is trying to manage the entire situation in the best possible way to be able to play on Sunday.

Right now Terrell Owens has an average of 16.7, with 1355 yards per game and fifteen touchdowns

But not everything is bad for Dallas, there’s also good news for them. Terry Glenn went back to practice after being sidelined due to knee surgery. This was his first team workout since NFL training camp.

Lets hope that the Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens, can be back soon to help his team along with Tony Romo to beat the New York Giants on Sunday. I think they really deserved that victory.
