The All-Star game is coming and the list with the NBA players that qualify for such event is already done.

And something curious happened when voting for those who will start the All-Star game. Allen Iverson known by all of us as one of the all-time greatest NBA players, came from behind during the fan voting, but finally he got a spot in the starting part of this big event.

Also Iverson’s Nuggets teammate Carmelo Anthony is joining him in the list of starters. Something important to mention is that this will be Carmelo’s first starting nod.

Now continuing with teams from the Western Conference, Kobe Bryant from Los Angeles Lakers will also make his 10th appearance and will team with Iverson. I really need to see this; I know they will surprise us!

Let’s keep going with this list of stars, the next is center Yao Ming from the Houston Rockets who will make his sixth appearance thanks to the votes of his fans. He is really good and it’s a good choice too.

Since this player entered the NBA in 1997, he has been chosen to participate in all the All-Star game and this year won’t make the difference: Tim Duncan from the San Antonio Spurs got chosen as one of the forwards.

But the list continues with more great names, if you are excited till now with the names mentioned above then wait to hear the next part of the list.

From the Boston Celtics Kevin Garnett was chosen, as you may know he was the 2003 MVP player and he was also the most voted player with a total of 2,399,148 votes. Along side with Garnett will be LeBron James as a forward, joining them also center Dwight Howard (this is Howard’s first time as a starter, I do wish him the best), but also Dwyane Wade from Miami Heat and the last piece of this group from New Jersey guard Jason Kidd.

All this players are the ones that lead the East front court. So far we can see that those names are the best in the NBA and of course they will bring a lot of excitement to all the fans by showing us how good they managing the ball in the field.

All the players are thankful to all the fans for being chosen, especially Iverson who said to the press how happy he is… “But most of all I just want to thank the fans for appreciating what I go out and do on the court night in and night out. It’s just a great feeling and an honor, and I’m just looking forward to trying to play the best that I can play for the fans.”

Remember the All-Star game was scheduled for the 15, 16 and 17 of February so be prepare for that moment.
