Rumors and comments rounds the two Super Bowl LXII contenders: New York Giants and the glorious New England Patriots.
This is funny and gives the NFL players some time to laugh and think about the importance of being prepared for next Sunday battle.
The Giants players feel really confident about their victory on Sunday’s game. And of course I understand that because they are the NFC champions but what I can’t understand is why are they saying that facing the Patriots will be an easy challenge for them?
I mean they are happy; they have won over many other good teams but no one thought they will make it to the playoffs or even been a Super Bowl contender. After getting so lucky, I think they must act in a thankful way and let all the fans know that they will give a fight instead of just denigrating his fair contender.
The Giants receiver Plaxico Burress said on Wednesday that the Giants will beat the Patriots but this is not all. He also affirms that New England will only score seventeen points….. And also his prediction for the final score was 23-17…. Is this a joke? Is Burress contacting a sorceress to predict such a thing?
Hey Burress have you forgot that when your team faced the Pats in the season finale, they rallied from twelve points down in the 3rd quarter? The Patriots made a record this NFL season with 18-0 straight victories and they never scored less than 20 points.
They also have set up a lot of records and have a lot of good players, like quarterback Tom Brady, the MVP with a record of 50 touchdowns; great Randy Moss also with a TD record for catches and two great receivers with more than 100 catches. This is just to mention a few of them because the list can be bigger, definitely this team is being made of good players and each one has become important for the Pats.
So based on that and many other important things like how hard are they practicing to face the Giants, I don’t think they want to go into the field to be a mediocre team, something that does not fit them.
Comments will come and comments will go, they are just making clear each team’s opinion (something I think is not necessary). But once more Brady shows the great man and the great player he is. Also the Pats as a entire team, congratulations!!!!
“All this is entertainment,” added Burress, who was held out of practice Wednesday because of an ankle injury that has plagued him all season. “Its sports and sports are entertainment. So 23-17 is the prediction I made, but the game still has to be played.”
Hope Burress is making this just for fun…
