A real lover and passionate player of the NFL decided to say good-bye to the game and also good-bye to his NFL team and teammates.
Yes as you heard, Brett Favre decided to quit with his NFL career and right now there’s nothing we can do to make him change this decision.
Every game he played was with lots of joy as it was his first game in his life. He was amazing on the field and through the seasons we saw the great potential that Favre manage to play.
We can’t understand till now why this NFL player decided to run off the field with all the future he has shown during the regular season but sometimes you just have to accept what the course of life brings everyday.
The Green Bay Packers’ player was born on October 10th, 1969 in Mississippi. He started playing for the National Football League in 1992 at the age of 23 as quarterback.
Thanks to his brilliant way to play in the field, he became really quick the starting quarterback for the Packers and since that time he did start all the games until his retirement this 2008 year.
He will be remembered not only for his charisma during the games but also because he is the only three time AP MVP in the NFL history. During his presence in the Green Bay’s team, he led them to a two Super Bowl games.
One of them was against the New England Patriots, where they won and the other Super Bowl game they went to was against the Denver Broncos where they loss in a fair and great full competition.
Favre played a total of seventeen seasons in the NFL and made lots of records such as: 442 touchdown passes, a total of 61655 passing yards, 5377 passing completions, 8758 pass attempts, also 288 interceptions thrown, he gain the record of most victories as a starting quarterback and of course he is on top of the most consecutive starts of quarterbacks with 253 and 275 including playoffs.
So far we can see that he has an admirable career and it is a big loss not only for the Packers but also for his fans, that has follow him through all this time.
All that starts has and end some said… the difficult situation to understand here is why the end for Favre came that fast.
The decision is already made, there’s nothing else we can reply to this than hoping and sending the best wishes for this star of the NFL that won’t shine this upcoming season.
