Amazing but truly, Jason Taylor from the Miami Dolphins has accepted the offer of Mrs. Deena Katz the senior of the big show “Dancing with the Stars”.

Let me give you a brief introduction of what this show is about. Its show where big stars will have to dance to find the goal of the person that is not a star but is there following a dream and will be transmitted by the ABC channel.

Of course there are other stars of the sports world practicing to get started, such as: Monica Seles the Grand Slam tennis champion and the gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi and the list will be much bigger.

The curious of this unusual situation is that Taylor is the first NFL active player that will participate in such event. Now another interesting point here is that Jason is not convinced of how far can he go as dancer because he hasn’t dance before this… how it will be?

Taylor said that when he first received the invitation to be part of this big show he declined but his wife insisted on him to reconsider the proposal. And after a big effort he decided to give it a chance and learn something different than playing NFL.

But he didn’t knew how hard is the practice which precedes the show and the dance time. For example they are practicing six hours a day in the studio and also this sessions will be longer as the competition advances.

But we also know his partner, she is a foot shorter than the NFL payer and sure they both look good as dancing partners for the “show” Only… please don’t get me wrong.

Her name is Edyta Sliwinska and is trying to get all the work done on time with his NFL dancing partner.

This 2008 NFL season will brings unexpected experiences to Jason who has been part of the Miami Dolphins for six seasons and despite the really bad image that this team has gained due to their poor performance in the field, Taylor said that he wants to remain with the franchise.

Let’s remember that the last NFL season the Dolphins ended 1-15, one of the worst performances of an NFL team in the history. But also they haven’t made it to the playoffs for sixth consecutive seasons.

What will this new experience will bring Taylor? Will this feel up Taylor with new energies to make something different for Miami this upcoming season?
