It’s amazing how all the circumstances can change your life in a minute… all the consequences of what you have done will be pay soon or later.

And this is the time of Barry Bonds to assume the responsibility of what he did in the past, where the greed of wanting more and more fame turned the curse of his career as an MLB player more specifically as pitcher.

It’s completely true that when you have something, you will be looking forward to have some more and that anxiety of having more can send you to the shadows living you alone and with fewer things than before.

The disgrace visited Barry Bonds’ door few time ago when he was indicted by the general court to spoke about charges that were posted against him for using steroids or drugs.

But this was just the start of a really heavy episode in Bonds’ life; they discovered that even though they made him spoke under oath he lied to the authorities. These kinds of acts are called perjury, and are usually penalized with jail.

Now Bonds’ is not only dealing with the charges of perjury and the use of drugs, but he is also facing a problem trying to find a job in the MLB this upcoming season.

This situation must be more than embarrassing for this player who was one of the favorites MLB pitchers for a really long time and for his good ways to pitch.

But the story turns around for a player that once touches the glory with his hands. Now he is expecting a call from any of the MLB franchises … looking for an opportunity that maybe won’t come to his hands anymore.

He is positive, he said that probably someone will call him soon; but I don’t know if Barry is aware of the situation he is confronting. He probably won’t be drafted by any of the MLB teams after all the allegations that are against him.

Here are Bonds’ words: “I’m not going to retire. I don’t think that’s going to happen,” he told MLB.com Tuesday. “I’m working out. I’m training. If my phone rings, it rings. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t. I have a cell phone. I have a Blackberry. They work. If something comes up, I’m sure they’ll let me know. I’ll come back in July if I have to. It depends on the circumstances.”

I hope that he continues thinking this way…
