Certainly all beginning has an end and this is the situation that the NBA player Chris Webber is affronting after been sidelined for serious problems on his left knee.

After 15 consecutive seasons as an active NBA player, today Webber must say good bye to all his teammates and all the personnel that continues heading the NBA community.

Webber was first drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 1993 and start playing in other NBA teams like Sacramento, Washington, Philadelphia, and Detroit. This is how his NBA career started, becoming really soon a very prominent member.

He will be remembered as the one who helped to revive the Sacramento Kings after been a practically “unknown team”, Chris bring an incandescent light making the Kings one of the best NBA teams, this is really valuable and we recognized it.

Thanks to this kind of performances he become five time All-Star player, averaging 9.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 20.7 points in a game.

But all this was gone after he underwent a microfracture surgery on his left knee. After this he didn’t recover the strength of his foot and was seem that his NBA career story was coming to the end.

After this he came back and signed up again with the Warriors in Jan 29, but the difference was easily felt during the games. He became slower and it was hard for him to maintain a fast-pace scoring only 3.9 PPG, definitely he wasn’t performing the way he was supposed to.

I think that he took the right decision, is better to leave now walking through the big door that being fired sooner or later.

Let’s wish the best to this NBA player after all he did story and that will be remembered always.

Here is what he said: “I probably should have explained myself better, but I’m happy with the way my career turned out,” Webber said when he re-signed with the team. “I never would have got to play with Sacramento or Washington on great teams. I never would have got to play for Coach again. I forgave a long time ago. Hopefully I’ve been forgiven a long time ago, and it’s time to move on.”
