This is just awesome!!!!
I was just searching through some of the good Sports sites, looking for the latest news on any sport category and found that an NBA player was arrested for driving a stolen car.
Isaiah Rider was born in Oakland, California in 1971. He studied in Encinal High School where he practiced baseball and basket ball at the same time.
But definitely his fort was the basketball, so he decided to move on and start making the necessary arrangements to become another important NBA player. Rider’s smartest helped to him to become part of important NBA teams such as: Minnesota Timberwolves, Portland Trail Blazers, Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets.
Since he was too young he showed disciplinary issues, there were many question and concerns about his character. They wanted to know if he will be the author of many difficult situations or if they can help him to control that attitude.
Once he was arrested for abusing a worker while he was in UNLV, but not only this he also threw his milkshake into the window of a drive through restaurant causing of course a confrontation between all the people that were there.
He was also arrested for using drugs and other crimes, increasing his reputation of criminal.
Even though the NBA authorities knew about this incident, the Minnesota Timberwolves decided to acquire him in 1993. Something curious here is that on his first practice with Minnesota he was late and he didn’t care about it. I don’t think it was a good initial sing, don’t you think?
But that year was just glorious for Isaiah (he use to called him self like that), making three 30 point games, winning the All-Star Slam Dunk Contest and finishing as one of the NBA’s All-Rookie First Team.
Avoiding all this records on his career, it’s understandable the way he acts. He doesn’t need to call the attention of anybody by acting like a thief or vandalism, he is a great player and that’s more than enough.
I think is time o call Rider to a court, to show him that there are rules that he most follow. He hasn’t stop doing this kind of crimes because there’s always someone who takes care of his difficult situations.
Rider is supposed to appear in court in April 23, to explain why he was driving a stolen car if he knows the consequences of it.
