Ranking sixth in the Western Conference and with a second win in a row, the Phoenix Suns start to celebrate their berth to the playoffs this NBA season. While the San Antonio Spurs feel the cold of their fatal loss.
Even thought San Antonio was beat by the Suns, they remain in second place behind the New Orleans Hornets.
Many were the players that helped Phoenix to win: Amare Stoudemire who helped in the score to reach double digits, Shaquille O’Neal who was back after a hip contusion scored 8 of 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds and of course Steve Nash scored twelve points with ten assists too.
On the other side the NBA players of the defending champions such as Tim Duncan, added twenty three points and ten rebounds while Tony Parker scored twenty points.
Also forward Bruce Bowen made the impossible to stop the Suns by attacking Stoudemire in the fourth quarter but obviously his attempts were not enough and finally the Suns got their victory.
There’s a serious problem between these two NBA players (Bowen and Stoudemire) and it was clearly seen that they can’t stand each other.
This is was Stoudemire said about this concern: “Bruce came elbow first. Elbowed me right in my rib cage,” Stoudemire said. “You know, definitely wasn’t a basketball play on his part and I reacted. I definitely didn’t appreciate it. So, I let him know about it.”
We all know that last year, there was another confrontation between these two players and Stoudemire was that angry that called the Spurs a “dirty team”, specially pointing to Bowen’s attitude and actions.
What will come next of this situation? Will it get worse?
Bowen offered no comments on this…
