It’s really difficult what the “Clemens” family is passing trough right now, after all the news and comments that have rounded the MLB pitcher Roger Clemens.

I don’t really want to be one of them… In general people have judged them and condemn this family in the worst way.

Roger Clemens’ older son, Koby Clemens has heard many comments and jokes about his family situation in important mass media. He recognized that this past months has been the most difficult moments for him and his family.

Wherever he is, the rumors about his father cheating on his mother and the problems with the use of steroids and drugs are the top topic of everyone. He tries not to hear it but sometimes he would like to go back and face those who are talking about his family.

Koby is currently playing for the Salem Avalanche and is attending the fourth year in the Astros farm system. Before his team faced Wilmington last night he said a few words regarding his family situation and with pain and sincerity he said that “the last few months have been difficult, but the recent storm has not fractured his family.”

I think this situation has gone too far, I mean it’s true that Roger was an MLB star and that he was loved by many MLB fans but his family has nothing to do with all the problems he provoked.

People from the media need to know that there is a limit where they can not trespasses just to maintain the dignity of the Clemens’ family and apparently the media has forgot this.

Clemens will pay for his mistakes, but this doesn’t mean that we have to destroy him based on comments or jokes or even inventing new stories about the MLB pitcher. These kinds of things harm really deep on his sons an wife.

Here is what Koby said about this painful situation: “I just want people to look themselves in the mirror before they judge,” Koby said. “People make mistakes. I’m not perfect. I’m sure you’re not perfect. Nobody’s perfect.”

“We’re strong and closer than ever,” Clemens said. “No matter what anybody can write, no matter what anybody can say, you’ll never break our family. That’s how I feel about it. I’m not even going to give him a name because I’m not as low as that guy.”

“There are a lot of people that you think are your real friends. As it’s gone further and further there aren’t that many people pulling for my dad anymore, which really hurts. There are a lot of people that have done tons and tons of worse stuff, including the man that is against him.”

There’s nothing else to say about, right? Please people get conscious and respect their pain.
