The Boston Celtics is breaking the records this NBA season first of all, when they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers and now with a flawless victory over the Detroit Pistons.
This is one of the best moments for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, both NBA players has demonstrated how good they are and how far they can go.
Pierce scored twenty two points and Garnett added 26 points and nine rebounds, this numbers were enough to give the Celtics a great victory over the Pistons who were really disappointed after the matchup.
The curious thing here is that the Celtics had only one day off to recover all their forces after a hard battle against LeBron and the Cavaliers, despite this they scored the first eight points against their NBA contenders.
Some said that the Celtics’ victory over the Pistons was because they haven’t rest for a long time, while the Pistons have a lot of time to rest get deactivated from the action.
Here are some comments from the players: “They haven’t lost a game; they should be confident,” said Billups, who missed the last 2 1/2 games of the Orlando series. “They have been very good here at home. We are usually a really good team; we didn’t have a good game today, but we look forward to Thursday.”
“You have to figure, doing this every other day, you just get used to the same routine of coming out, being out this late, playing basketball,” Celtics guard Ray Allen said. “I think when you get that break in between; you have to build yourself back up into it.”
“This was the perfect game for them to come in and try to steal one,” said Pierce, who scored 41 in the finale against Cleveland. “And we were aware of that.”
