Garnett leads Celtics pass Pistons in their first road win in the playoffs

The Celtics were known for their long stretch of road victories during the regular season, something that got lost in some way during these playoffs. And yesterday it was the first time for the team from Boston to win out of the TD Banknorth Garden arena since April 14 when they took down the Knicks at the Madison Square Garden.

Well, they had the pressure on their shoulders, knowing that the Pistons beat them on game 2 at Boston, they were up to the challenge of beating Detroit at the Palace of Auburn Hills, and so they did.

Tonight they will try to prove that their victory on May 24 was not a coincidence or pure luck, and if they manage to beat the Pistons one more time on game 4, they will come back to Boston knowing that the tables have turned, but that is to be seeing to be believed.

In despite of being up 2-1, the Celtics are hoping to make it 3-1 to go back to Boston, win one more at home, and finish the series in 5 games instead of 6 or 7 and not having to come back to Detroit.

Final score was 94-80 with Kevin Garnett leading the numbers on every single aspect for the Celtics, as he scored 22 points, had 13 rebounds and made it for 6 assists, while team mate Paul Pierce ended with 11.

This just says that Garnett is not falling into the all-nervous mask that he is best known for at crucial moments, specially the playoffs. If he keeps on delivering and gets the necessary help from Pierce and Ray Allen, they might as well make it to the NBA Finals as expected.
