Landry Stays with the Rockets

Carl Landry was unable to reach terms with the Rockets since the beginning of the free agency period, and so the Bobcats wanted the power forward (who can also play center) on their roster, and came up with a 3-year $9 million dollar deal, but since he was a restricted free agent, Houston matched Charlotte’s deal and kept Landry in despite of having a very decent depth up front, which is what the Bobcats are lacking. and so Charlotte is still on a quest to find the right guy to help out Emeka Okafor and Nazr Mohammed.
Last NBA season, Carl Landry averaged 22 points, 4.8 rebounds in 42 games.
If no good deal had appeared, Landry and his agent were to opt for a contract overseas.
