1. Celtics: let me start with the current NBA champs; they are ready to repeat in the finals, and their only concern is James Posey, whom left the team and whom was essential at the finals last year against Los Angeles.
2. Lakers: In my opinion LA has the same chances of winning the NBA championship as the Celtics; they even have Andrew Bynum back, but I’m putting Boston at the top because they are fueled by their outstanding previous season.
3. Pistons: With Kwame Brown on the team, Detroit has become into a very compact team, and with new coach Michael Curry, the Pistons have a chance of coming up with more than 59 victories this year.
4. Hornets: Were they just on fire last year or are they legitimately good? Those questions will have answers this coming NBA season, and with James Posey on the team they gain a lot on the small forward position.
5. Rockets:  Houston won 22 straight games last season, and that was without their best player on Yao Ming, so with the Chinese center back and healthy, they are a force to be reckoned.
