Indeed, Chargers were better than Patriots

The Chargers are in a very different position now. They were facing 3 consecutive losses at the beginning of the season, but with their 30-10 win to the Patriots yesterday, they are just one game away from the Broncos (4-2), whom is leading the AFC West.

There is a huge gap of talent between Matt Cassel and Tom Brady, and the absence of the latest is what is making the Patriots a truly underdog this season.

With fourth and goal at the 1 yard line, these were Cassel’s words: “It’s a progression read, we went through it, and I didn’t see anybody open.” And there is where the difference between Brady and Cassel relies, as the injured quarterback has a wider understanding of football tactics.

I think it’s just amazing how the patriots have 3 victories so far and playing so bad.

Now the Chargers are 3-3, and will play the Bills next week; this seems like a tough game for San Diego since Buffalo is 4-1 and is looking to defend their lead at the AFC East.
