Adam Jones suspended from the NFL … Again

It was just a matter of time before NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to take Pacman Jones case on his hands again since an alcohol-related altercation last week which involved Jones and his bodyguard.
“A disturbing pattern of behavior and clearly inconsistent with the conditions I set for your continued participation in the NFL.” Were Goodell’s words on a letter he wrote to Adam Jones and which was delivered to the Cowboys cornerback yesterday.
Jones will be out at least four weeks, and Goodell will be deciding the final length of the suspension after the Cowboys game against the Redskins on November 16.
Sure, the Cowboys are losing a great player on Jones, but are coming with a great recent addition in Roy Williams, a former Detroit Lions player who is coming in exchange of 3 draft picks from first, third and sixth rounds at the coming NFL Draft 2009.
