This is an historic moment for baseball in TampaBay, as the Rays just made it to the World Series after eliminating the Red Sox in seven games.
This is the first time the Rays advance to the championship game in their 11-year history.
TampaBay’s odds were 200-1 to make it to the World Series, but they won 97 games in the regular season and are now celebrating their American League Championship.
The Series was 3-1 for the Rays before Boston made it interesting with two consecutive wins that gave them some hope at FenwayPark, but then the series moved to Tropicana Field for the remaining games, Boston won the sixth, and the home team the seventh.
Now the Rays will host the Phillies on game 1 for the World Series.
